Perhaps we should come up with another project. I'm sure someone else could come up with a better idea than me. But, just to get the ball rolling, I'll toss out the following:
The theme for December could be "A Journey." You could document any trip you make. Maybe it's a trip home for the holidays. Or maybe it's a Saturday bicycle ride to the beach. Or a visit to the post office. A trip from one side of the yard to the other. Or maybe you could get creative and interpret "A Journey" in your own way.
Being that December is often a busy time for folks, we could keep this thing loose and flexible. You could post one "journey" for the entire month, or one "journey" every week of you desire. The number of photos per "journey" would be up to you.
Any thoughts?

Jack..I think it has possibilities!
ditto. I've got a thought to expand my picture tag idea too- and it would open it up to everyone. I'll consider passing that by this group after I get my next shot which I've finally decided what that will be (crazy 2 weeks here).
I'd like to do another 12 too- maybe after the holiday seasons.
Jeff
Nice idea.
:-)
i think it is a great idea... very conducive to fun adventure-type photos...
another future concept to explore could be "mission" - which would lend an element of mystery to the narrative. a mission could be anything from brewing a perfect cup of coffee to climbing a mountain to getting the outhouse tank cleaned out.
I like that mission idea. Perhaps we should kick these ideas around and try to set up a plan before Dec. 1. Then we'd have a whole month to do a set of photos, or even multiple sets depending on our energy levels.
Jeff, what's your "picture tag idea?"
I like all the different directions that we can go with this! With many different themes, maybe we do one a month? For that month, we could pass on the admin privaleges to whoever came up with the idea, that way if they had others they wanted to add, it'd be a breaze for them. Let me know if there's any interest to do it that way. How's this, lets agree on one of the forementioned projects by the end of this month, and work on it in December. Shall we start with the journey idea?
lets start with the journey. Yep.
Looks like we have something resembling consenus!
So how about this: The theme for December is "The Journey." You can can take as many or as few photos necessary to document "a journey."
The theme can continue through December. If you feel like it, you can do more than one journey and more than one set of photos.
So now we just need a "go for it" from a couple folks to make this official.
Picture tag... I started it here between Doug and another bicyclist who really should get a blogger account and it is as follows:
I started by being "it" and took a picture of something in my town. The first person to find that thing and take a picture of it was then it and got to choose the next thing. The only rules were to not make it too difficult and to keep it relatively close.
To make it friendly for everyone to play, we could say take a picture of something (more a concept then a specific item, but could be) then everyone can try to find a similar item in their town and photograph it and post it. I thought those participating could try to look at the object or concept from a different perspective and really get creative with it. Could be fun. We could say for 1 week or month 1 concept or object is it and then everyone can post their picture of what it is, not sure who would be it next... Just a thought.
Oh, also, I'm go for a Journey- sound fun!
GO FOR IT!!!!
woo hoo!
Journey, December, got it.
Going for it.
Are we going to include a lot of text with these images, or keep it simple, as with the 12 Hr. project?
I like the 'tag, you're "it"' photo project! Gotta keep that in mind for future months...
E.
Sounds like fun! I'm in for the journey project.
Let the journey begin!
I would suggest that folks provide as much or as little text as they would like.
I like the tag idea. Maybe Jeff could spearhead that idea after this project.
I'm in for the journey....does this mean we have to change the name of this blog?
